    Dr. Reinhard Wichels
    Managing Director

    Dr. Wichels has more than 15 years of experience in the healthcare sector. Prior to the founding of WMC he was a partner in an international management consulting company. He is a doctor and has worked in various hospitals, including the university hospital at Großhadern, where he was a scientific research assistant in the field of cardiology.

    Prof. Dr. Christian Wallwiener
    Managing Director

    Prof. Dr. Wallwiener is a doctor with clinical training at the Technical University of Munich, Harvard University and Oxford University. He qualified as a professor in the field of experimental gynaecology, and has many years of experience in the healthcare sector. He previously worked in an international management consulting company, and is a partner at WMC.

    Managing Director

    Mr. Eckert looks back on more than 15 years of management and consulting experience in the healthcare industry. Before his appointment as partner at WMC, he held leading positions at international audit and consulting companies as well as at private healthcare providers. He holds a master’s degree in economics and management from the University of Passau and an MBA in healthcare.

    Niklas Hofferbert

    Mr. Hofferbert has a Master of Arts, and successfully completed his studies of history, politics and economics at Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg (Heidelberg University). He has many years of experience in industry and the healthcare sector. Before joining WMC, he worked as a project manager in industry, and as a hospital logistics specialist.

    Dr. Rajendra Persaud

    Dr. Persaud is an information technology specialist, and has more than 5 years of professional experience in the healthcare sector. He studied information technology at the RWTH Aachen University and at the Pierre and Marie Curie University in Paris, and obtained a PhD in the field of communication networks. Before joining WMC, he worked in an international management consulting company, and in an operational role at a university hospital.

    Anne Kuhbier

    Ms. Kuhbier is a biologist and has many years of consulting experience with a focus on pharmaceutical, biotech and medtech, especially in the areas of market access, reimbursement and stakeholder management. Most recently, as Managing Director, she was responsible for the fortunes of a healthcare boutique consultancy in Munich. At WMC, Ms. Kuhbier heads the Serviceline Pharma Consulting.

    Dr. Arne Berndt
    Partner

    Before joining WMC Healthcare, Dr. Berndt worked for many years in the German health care system, most recently as a clinic manager for a large private carrier, and before that for a major international management consultancy specializing in health insurance. Dr. Berndt studied business administration, psychology and pedagogy and did his doctorate on change management.

    For the last 16 years Stefanie Lonkwitz worked for two major international consulting companies, of those 7 years in the healthcare sector with the focus on recruiting, resource management and people development. Within WMC Stefanie is in charge of our divisions HR and Operations.

    Viktor Daiker

    Mr. Daiker is a qualified business administrator and obtained his master’s with a focus on corporate taxation at the Augsburg University of Applied Sciences. Before joining WMC he worked many years which focused on accounting and controlling, last as a head of accounting department in a medium-sized production company. Within WMC Mr. Daiker is in charge of our divisions Finance and Controlling.

    Saskia Gleitsmann

    Mrs. Gleitsmann graduated from business administration and has several years of experience in organizational development and change management in the health care sector. In addition, she has sound expertise in training and coaching. She also has a degree in psychology and completed her master's degree in business administration at WHU with study visits to Singapore (NUS) and England (LSE). She completed her master's degree in Health & Medical Management at FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg.

    Dr. Andrea Allgäuer

    Dr. Allgäuer studied molecular biotechnology at the Technical University of Munich, and obtained a PhD at the Erlangen university hospital in the field of immunology. While studying, she worked in various areas of a large pharmaceutical corporation. At WMC, she contributes her national and international project experience.

    Mr. Seyr completed his studies at the London School of Economics and has many years of professional experience in the consulting sector. In his former position, he worked for a well-established, internationally operating consulting agency, whereby he concentrated on the consulting of numerous PE funds. At WMC he serves investors in the healthcare and life science sector with a main focus on commercial due diligence & post deal value creation.

    Markus Hellmann

    Mr. Hellmann graduated in business management and studied at the University of Cologne and RWTH Aachen. After obtaining his master’s degree, he took a leading role as a project manager for cost optimization projects in the healthcare industry at an internationally operating company. At WMC, he leads projects in consulting with a focus on material costs optimization.

    Dr. Kollmar completed his doctorate as a consultant and has an MBA. Due to his experience of attending more than 100 chief physician conferences and as an executive of a healthcare consultancy at WMC he is in charge of the service line of material costs optimization.

    Nathalie Landgraf

    Mrs. Landgraf is a psychologist who studied at Dresden University of Technology and at UCO in Angers, France. In addition, she has a bachelor professional of human resources management (CCI) and attended various further education courses in health management. At WMC she is in charge of HR and people development.

She has many years of experience in strategy advisory with focus on life science and healthcare as well as business development. Prior to her employment as a consultant, Mrs. Paltian worked for several years at one of the largest trading and real estate companies in Germany.

For the past 18 years he has been employed in a consulting firm specializing in hospitals; last as an authorized representative and office manager. He heads the development of service lines for WMC and is developing the Hamburg location.

    Dr. Marina Rubey is a biochemist with several years of experience in the pharmaceutical and biotech start-up area. She studied at LMU Munich and at Cambridge University, followed by doctoral studies in diabetes research at the Helmholtz Zentrum for Environmental Health. Most recently, she worked in a leading position within a spin-off project of the LMU Munich, funded by the BMBF, in the field of chemotherapeutic cancer therapy.

    Mr. Krösche completed his studies in health economics in Hamburg. Prior to joining WMC Healthcare, Mr. Krösche worked in an international consulting and auditing firm, where he gained experience in primary and hospital care management. More recently, he worked for a consultancy company that specialized in strategic advisory for financial investors in the healthcare and nursing market.

    Mr. Hoeselbarth is a trained molecular biologist and completed his Master’s degree at LMU Munich, with a research semester in Singapore (NUS). He gained professional experience in external and in-house management consulting as well as in the field of cancer research and drug development.

    Dr. Aresin holds a degree in economics and is an experienced strategy consultant with focus on deals and M&A, a field in which she has worked in Germany and the Netherlands. She received her Diplom from LMU Munich and further holds a PhD from LMU and the Max Planck Institute for Tax Law and Public Finance. Her PhD studies also took her on a study visit to Canada (SFU).

Before joining WMC, he completed a trainee program in purchasing and logistics at Europe's largest private hospital operator and subsequently gained experience in project development for construction projects in the healthcare sector.

    Mr. von Kleist completed his studies at ESCP Europe in Paris as well as at the Universities of Bonn and Kiel with stays abroad in the Czech Republic and China. In addition, Mr. von Kleist is also a trained banker. Before joining WMC, Mr. von Kleist worked for WMC's subsidiary Advisors in Healthcare as a management consultant in the transaction business. He has several years of professional experience as an investment professional with a leading private equity fund of funds manager, with a focus on investments in the healthcare sector. Mr. von Kleist also gained experience in operations at a digital health company.

    Prof. Dr. Katrin Rothkopf, M.Sc. is a doctor for anesthesia and intensive care medicine and has many years of experience in the areas of medical strategy, medicine controlling and quality management. She managed the revenue management of large private and municipal hospital providers and has a teaching position at the Rosenheim University of Technology, Department of Management in the Healthcare Industry.

She has more than 20 years of experience in hospital billing and DRG system and worked as a manager in medical controlling for large maximum care providers. She also works as a lecturer in hospital business administration at various academies. At WMC, she supports the Serviceline Revenue Management as an Expert Manager.

    Alexander Heining

    Mr. Heining graduated in business administration in healthcare and due to his dual degree program at the University of Apppied Sciences Rosenheim he gained various experiences in the administration of hospitals. He also has advanced knowledge and practical experiences in the fields of drug registration and Market Access. Furthermore Mr. Heining completed his master degree in „Medical Process Management“ at FAU Erlangen-Nuremberg.

    Mr. Brennauer gained - after completing his education at the Foreign Language Institute in Munich - several years of work experience in the administrative and HR field inter alia at an IT company in London as well as in international companies in Munich and Frankfurt. At WMC he is responsible for recruiting matters.

    Prof. Dr. Eva-Maria Oppel

    Prof. Oppel is a junior professor of business administration, especially for management in Healthcare at the University of Hamburg. She is also a core member of the Hamburg Center for Health Economics (HCHE). Ms. Oppel conducts research in Germany and the United States (Boston) on organizational behavior and personnel management issues in hospitals. Ms. Oppel is a certified systemic personal and business coach. Prof. Oppel supports and advises the WMC Academy as Scientific Advisor.

    Ramona Kolb is a trained hotel specialist and was able to expand her professional career with a year abroad in Australia. Most recently, Ramona Kolb spent several years in the reception and conference area, including client support in an international corporate law firm. She supports the WMC Management as an assistant.

    Dorian Denner is an economist and has several years of professional experience in the public sector and in the pharmaceutical industry. He also completed the interdisciplinary master's degree course "Future Design" at the University of Applied Sciences in Coburg, where he developed future scenarios and strategies together with national and international companies.

    Oliver Kaspi graduated in business administration with a master’s degree from the University of St. Gallen. Prior to joining WMC he worked for a strategy consulting firm focusing on the pharmaceutical industry.     Katja Brandt has many years of experience as a registered nurse with further training as a medical coding specialist. In coding, she gained experience in the departments of orthopedics/accident surgery, general and visceral surgery, spinal surgery and internal medicine as well as in MDK management.

    Silke Nehls-Hagemann has been working in the healthcare sector for 30 years. She is a trained nurse and business adminstrator in health and social care. She has gained a lot of experience in medical controlling and organizational development from working in hospitals for several years. Before joining WMC she had been working as a lecturer in the aforementioned fields.

    Laura Veigl completed her Bachelor's and Master's degree in Health Economics at the University of Bayreuth with a study visit in Rotterdam (Erasmus University). Before joining WMC, she gained experience at a management consultancy in the healthcare sector as well as in international pharmaceutical and medical technology companies.

    Franziska Oelze has over 15 years of experience in the healthcare sector, of which she has worked in the hospital field for over 10 years. Thanks to the management of medical controlling and patient management for several years, she has a high level of expertise in these areas. Through distance learning, she also completed her degree in social and healthcare studies. Franziska Oelze is currently finishing her bachelor’s degree in health economics through distance learning.

    Michael Rohnert

    Mr. Rohnert is a health economist (FH) and has sound experience in the DRG system. Before joining WMC, he worked for many years for a large statutory health insurance company. Here he was responsible, among other things, for the organisation of the accounting audit for hospitals in NRW. Most recently, he was head of the revenue management department of a private hospital operator and is an expert for revenue assurance in hospitals.

    Ms. Bach is a health economist and completed her bachelor's degree at the University of Bayreuth. Before joining WMC, she worked in patient management for a major private hospital chain for four years. There she was particularly responsible for securing revenue and patient accounting.

    Martin Müller

    Mr. Müller is a physician and conducted research on various aspects of cardiac diagnostics at the Heart Center Leipzig as well as the Massachusetts General Hospital of Harvard Medical School in Boston. After working at an international consultancy firm and as a radiology resident, he started employment at an inhouse strategy consultancy before joining WMC. Furthermore, Mr. Müller has previously gained first-hand experience in the pharmaceutical industry and in non-profit startups.

    Ms. Kerstin Utz has over 13 years of experience in the healthcare sector, of which she worked in the medical controlling for over 4 years. As a trained office clerk, Mr. Utz expanded her knowledge through further trainings as a coding specialist. She specifically coded the fields of spine surgery, internal medicine and orthopedics. She also has serval years of experience in MDK management.
