    Managing Director

    Dr. Wichels has more than 15 years of experience in the healthcare sector. Prior to the founding of WMC he was a partner in an international management consulting company. He is a doctor and has worked in various hospitals, including the university hospital at Großhadern, where he was a scientific research assistant in the field of cardiology.

    Managing Director

    Dr. Möhlmann is a doctor and has more than 10 years of professional experience in the healthcare sector. He studied medicine in Heidelberg, at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich and at the Harvard Medical School. In addition, he obtained a PhD in metabolic biochemistry. Simultaneously, he studied business administration, and prior to the founding of WMC he was a partner in an international management consulting company.

    Prof. Dr. Christian Wallwiener
    Managing Director

    Prof. Dr. Wallwiener is a doctor with clinical training at the Technical University of Munich, Harvard University and Oxford University. He qualified as a professor in the field of experimental gynaecology, and has many years of experience in the healthcare sector. He previously worked in an international management consulting company, and is a partner at WMC.

    Partner

    Mr. Eckert looks back on more than 15 years of management and consulting experience in the healthcare industry. Before his appointment as partner at WMC, he held leading positions at international audit and consulting companies as well as at private healthcare providers. He holds a master’s degree in economics and management from the University of Passau and an MBA in healthcare.

    Mr. Foerster is a health economist, who obtained a master’s degree in health policy, economics and management at Maastricht University and the medical university Karolinska Institutet in Stockholm. He has many years of professional experience in the healthcare sector through his work at an international management consulting company.

    Mr. Hofferbert has a Master of Arts, and successfully completed his studies of history, politics and economics at Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg (Heidelberg University). He has many years of experience in industry and the healthcare sector. Before joining WMC, he worked as a project manager in industry, and as a hospital logistics specialist.

    Dr. Rajendra Persaud

    Dr. Persaud is an information technology specialist, and has more than 5 years of professional experience in the healthcare sector. He studied information technology at the RWTH Aachen University and at the Pierre and Marie Curie University in Paris, and obtained a PhD in the field of communication networks. Before joining WMC, he worked in an international management consulting company, and in an operational role at a university hospital.

    For the last 16 years Stefanie Lonkwitz worked for two major international consulting companies, of those 7 years in the healthcare sector with the focus on recruiting, resource management and people development. Within WMC Stefanie is in charge of our divisions HR and Operations.

    Mrs. Gleitsmann graduated from business administration and has several years of experience in organizational development and change management in the health care sector. In addition, she has sound expertise in training and coaching. She also has a degree in psychology and completed her master's degree in business administration at WHU with study visits to Singapore (NUS) and England (LSE). She completed her master's degree in Health & Medical Management at FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg.

    Dr. Allgäuer studied molecular biotechnology at the Technical University of Munich, and obtained a PhD at the Erlangen university hospital in the field of immunology. While studying, she worked in various areas of a large pharmaceutical corporation. At WMC, she contributes her national and international project experience.

    Mrs. Becker is a qualified business administrator, and obtained a master’s degree in marketing management at Bocconi University in Milan, Italy. Her thesis focused on the global trend of medical tourism and its relevant effects on health economics.

    Dr. Janet Peters-Alt

    Mrs. Peters-Alt is a nursing and health scientist. She works in a leading position as a medical controller and quality manager in various German clinics. After several years in the USA, she entered the management consulting field in 2012. Mrs. Peters-Alt is in demand as a book author and visiting lecturer at various universities. At WMC she heads the medical controlling department.

    Mr. Seyr completed his studies at the London School of Economics and has many years of professional experience in the consulting sector. In his former position, he worked for a well-established, internationally operating consulting agency, whereby he concentrated on the consulting of numerous PE funds. At WMC he serves investors in the healthcare and life science sector with a main focus on commercial due diligence & post deal value creation.

    Mr. Classen studied health economics and business administration in Munich, and is currently completing a master’s degree in general management at Middlesex University in London. He has several years of experience in different aspects of healthcare and worked in an international management consulting company prior to joining WMC.

    Mrs. Paltian is a qualified business administrator and obtained her master’s degree in Mannheim. She has many years of experience in strategy advisory with focus on life science and healthcare as well as business development. Prior to her employment as a consultant, Mrs. Paltian worked for several years at one of the largest trading and real estate companies in Germany.

    Dr. Thorsten Kollmar

    Dr. Kollmar completed his doctorate as a consultant and has an MBA. Due to his experience of attending more than 100 chief physician conferences and as an executive of a healthcare consultancy at WMC he is in charge of the service line of material costs optimization.

    Aline Bohrer

    Mrs. Bohrer is a business administrator, and is currently completing an MBA in health management and controlling at the Graduate School Rhein-Neckar in Mannheim. Prior to her appointment at WMC, she worked in a hospital staff position and as an authorised representative for two medical supply centres. She also gained initial experience with a nationwide supplementary health insurance fund, in the area of budget negotiations. At WMC, she contributes several years of practical experience to the area of analytics.

In 2003, she moved to medical controlling department in hospitals, where she expanded her knowledge and professional experience on the side of the benefactor. At WMC, Mrs. Schnieder is part of the medical controlling team.

Moreover, he was in charge of an ERP entities mergence and the introduction of a business warehouse for the controlling department.

For the past 18 years he has been employed in a consulting firm specializing in hospitals; last as an authorized representative and office manager. He heads the development of service lines for WMC and is developing the Hamburg location.

Alongside his professional commitments, he completed a Master's programme in business administration (MBA). Most recently, she worked in a leading position within a spin-off project of the LMU Munich, funded by the BMBF, in the field of chemotherapeutic cancer therapy.

Before joining WMC, he was manager of the fitness and health training facility of University of Bonn, Germany for several years. In addition, he worked at the Department of Business Administration and Health Care Management at University of Cologne, Germany as well as for an international strategic consultancy firm in the area of health care and life sciences.

    Ms. Berghammer works as an assistent at WMC in munich. She is a business administrator and has also completed her apprenticeship in insurance and finance. Befor joining WMC, she worked worldwide as a travel manager on board a cruise ship.

    Dr. Aresin holds a degree in economics and is an experienced strategy consultant with focus on deals and M&A, a field in which she has worked in Germany and the Netherlands. She received her Diplom from LMU Munich and further holds a PhD from LMU and the Max Planck Institute for Tax Law and Public Finance. Her PhD studies also took her on a study visit to Canada (SFU).

    Stefan Hildebrandt graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Health Care Management from the Hochschule Niederrhein, University of Applied Sciences. Before joining WMC, he completed a trainee program in purchasing and logistics at Europe's largest private hospital operator and subsequently gained experience in project development for construction projects in the healthcare sector.

    Dr. Bettina Lehman studied molecular medicine at the Georg-August University in Göttingen, and continued her doctorate studies in molecular microbiology and immunology at the University of Alberta in Canada. While establishing research projects based on patient-derived cells in the fields of molecular medicine and neurodegenerative disease at two world-renowned research institutes in San Diego, California, she simultaneously completed an MBA for working professionals at UC San Diego.
